HERTFORDSHIRE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION COUNTY CUPS - AN UPDATE

As we approach the end of February the County Cups are nearing their culmination. Here is how the Hertfordshire Football Association adult competitions currently line-up - 

Senior Challenge Cup Final 
date to be arranged 
Hitchin Town v Bishops Stortford 
The Canaries won the Herts Senior Cup for the first time since 1997 in a 2-1 win versus Boreham Wood. They could be the first team to retain the Trophy since Watford won in 1994 and 1995. The Final will be a welcome break for Bishops Stortford who have been struggling in the relegation zone of the Vanarama South division this season. Hitchin are in 3rd place of the Evo-Stick Southern League Premier Division and look set for a place in the play-offs at the end of the season. 

Charity Cup 
date to be arranged 
Cheshunt v Hitchin Town 
It's two trips to The County Ground for Hitchin Town when they face RD1(N) side Cheshunt in The Charity Cup final. It's the first time since 2010 that Bishops Stortford have not been in the final - they have won five of the last six competitions. The Ambers last won in 2008 with The Canaries last win in 2001.

Senior Centenary Trophy 
to be played on Tuesday 21st March 
London Lions v Wodson Park 
A great final in prospect in the Senior Centenary Trophy as Herts Senior County League Premier Division table topper's London Lions take on Wodson Park on the SSMFL Division One. 

Veteran's Cup Final 
to be played on Sunday 19th March 
Dun Cow Vets v Hitchin Town Vets or Hadley Vets 

Saturday Junior Cup 
to be played on Friday 14th April (Good Friday 3pm KO)
