WILL SPORTING BENGAL UNITED GET OFF THE BOTTOM OF THE ESSEX SENIOR LEAGUE?
Sporting Bengal United are adrift by three points at the bottom of the Essex Senior League with only two wins in nineteen league games played so far. They do have four games in hand over Burnham Ramblers who are just above them and also games in hand over every team up to Eton Manor in fourteenth place. Their two wins have come against West Essex (3-1 on 17th September) and Clapton (3-1 on 12th October).
The Tigers have three games prior to the league's break over Christmas weekend - they go to Redbridge tomorrow evening followed by two home games against Hullbridge Sports on Saturday and then Wadham Lodge next Wednesday 21st December evening.
A crowd of just 25 saw them lose to Haringey and Waltham Development on Saturday at The Mile End Stadium - they are one of the teams just above them in the table.
