As it stands in Division One both Biggleswade and Baldock Town are in a good posititon to overtake current league leader's Harpenden Town with their games in hand. Biggleswade FC, in their first season, are having a terrific campaign so far having lost just two games and sixteen of the eighteen they have played. The two games Biggleswade have lost came against Broadfields earlier in the season on Saturday 3rd September and at home to Kensington Borough on Saturday 8th October. They warmed up for their Christmas local derby with fifth placed Langford with a midweek 0-5 victory at Hadley Wood and Wingate - Thomas Cookman, Nathan George, Nicholas Henebery, Joes Ives and Patrick McCafferty scored the goals.

Kensington Borough made a great start to the season and were leaders in the table at one point - they have since dropped down to sixth place. They lost just two of their opening eleven games but have since lost five in their next eleven.

There are some huge games coming up over the Christmas period with the aforementioned Biggleswade v Langford local derby on Tuesday 27th December which sees 2nd v 5th. This is followed by Harpdenden Town entertaining Baldock Town on Monday 2nd January and then Langford on Saturday 7th January.

In league games only it's Pat Daly of Langford who currently leads the scoring charts having scored twenty times in eighteen games - He is followed by Alfie Barker who has hit the back of the net eighteen times in fifteen apperances for Langford and now Codicote. Baldock's Anthony James also have eighteen goals in fourteen games. In all games James has twenty-nine in twenty-five games and Daly twenty-seven in twenty-four.

Arlesey Town Reserves currently prop up the table with just seven points in twenty-one games played - their only victories have come against Codicote and Bedford.

2 THAME RANGERS 15 +51 40 5
3 ENFIELD BOROUGH 18 +28 37 17
4 ASTON CLINTON 15 +27 33 12
5 TOTTERNHOE 16 +18 33 15

Thame Rangers are the hot favourites for the title in Division Two having dropped only five points in their fifteen games played so far. They have one defeat and one draw along with thirteen victories. The defeat came at Enfield
Borough (2-1) and the draw at New Bradwell St Peter (0-0).

In their last six league and cup games (which they have won) Thame have scored an incredible thirty-three goals!

In league games only it's Daniel Lambeth of Totternhoe who leads the scoring charts on nineteen goals in sixteen games followed by Shayne Almond of Thame Rangers and Alex Feaver of Old Bradwell United on fifteen goals each. A special mention must go to Grendon Rangers player Nathan Perna who follows on fourteen goals in eighteen games which is a good return seeing as his side are bottom of the table with only twenty-six scored in their nineteen games played.

New Bradwell St Peter were expected to do well this season under former Padbury, Ampthill Town and Leighton Town boss Craig Bicknell. They are currently in eigth place - The Cold End expects them to finish higher up the table with the quality of players currently in The Peter's squad. They include Christain Lester (former Ampthill Town, Cambridge City, Leighton Town and Bedford Town), Ash Farmer (Bedford Town, Ampthill Town, Buckingham Town, Aylesbury United, Winslow United and Newport Pagnell Town), Steve Flux (Ampthill Town and Leighton Town) and Billy Lobjoit (Leyton Orient, Boreham Wood, Hendon, Leighton Town and Bishops Stortford) amongst others.

Back in 2013 when playing for Winslow United Ash Farmer scored a wonder goal which has attracted many views on You Tube.
