London Lions, with a 100% winning record in seven league games, rightly lead the Hertfordshire Senior County League Premier Division but only by two points from last season's champion's Standon & Puckeridge and Bushey Sports Club. The two sides left unbeaten are The Lions and 2014/15 Champion's Belstone who are currently in fifth place on five wins and two draws from seven games played.

Sandridge Rovers have the best defence letting in just six goals in eight games but they have only scored thirteen which only the current bottom five scoring less goals.

Adrian Abramian of Chipperfield Corinthians is joint top scorer with Darren Turner of Belstone. Six of Abramian's goals came in one game when Chipperfield beat Hatfield Social 11-1 on Saturday 24th September - Tristan Dicker also scored a hat-trick in this game.

LONDON LIONS - A PERFECT RECORD IN LEAGUE FIXTURES SO FAR
This coming Saturday sees the game of the season so far as London Lions welcome Standon and Puckeridge to Rowley Lane. Will The Lions continue their winning run or will S&P end it? Last season the two sides played each other three times with Standon winning both league games 1-0 and 3-0 - Lions won an Anagram Records Trophy Round Two tie 4-1.

Sarratt and Cuffley are the only sides left without a victory. Cuffley are in cup action this weekend with Sarratt going to Letchworth Garden City Eagles who have won three, drawn two and lost three of their eight games.

The two sides face each on Saturday 15th October in what could be described as a battle of the basement dwellers!

STEP SIX v STEP SEVEN LOCAL DERBY THIS WEEKEND
Another interesting game takes place this weekend as Knebworth make the short (just under 3 miles) trip to play local rival's Codicote who play in the Spartan South Midlands League Division One.
