The draw for the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round was made earlier today with the Vanarama National league sides joining the competition just one win away from a possible money spinning tie with a football league side. Bishop Auckland, Westfields and Hadley (subject to winning their replay) are the only sides from below step four of the non-league ladder still involved.

Bishop Auckland last reached the First Round proper in 1994/95 when they lost to Bury 4-2 on penalty kicks after 0-0 and 1-1 draws. They are currently seventh in the EBAC Northern League Division One. They travel to Stockport County for a chance of reaching the First Round - Stockport are currently 11th in the Vanarama North Division. The Two blues have beaten Thornaby, Nelson, Ossett Albion, Trafford and Farsley Celtic to get to this stage.

Westfields are having a great season in the Midland Football League - they are currently top of the Premier Division having won all nine of their league games so far scoring 33 goals and letting in just 7. So far they have beaten Stourport Switfts, Tividale, St Ives Town, Highgate United and Walton Casuals in the FA Cup. Leiston, top of the Ryman Premier and also unbeaten, will be a tough game but equally the Suffolk side will not find it easy at The Allpay Park. It's fair to say that their 50th Anniversary season will be one the club will never forget!

Hadley drew 0-0 at Vanarama South Eastbourne Borough on Saturday. All roads lead to Potters Bar Town (the game is not being played at Brickfield Lane) on Wednesday evening for the replay. Can the SSMFL Premier Division side cause a shock result? I recommend if you are local to the Hertfordshire or North London area to make a trip to the game - you just never know with the magic of the FA Cup!
