THE COLD END FROM 10p TO............

Regular readers of TheColdEnd will know I have a pretty terrible gambling and prediction record so for the new 2016/17 season I'll be taking the challenge of turning 10p into a little bit more money. Every weekend I'll pick two games (so we've got two chances) and bet 10p on each team I predict will win - If they lose the most we lose is 10p and if they win the return will roll over to next week's games. So the most we will lose is 10p and we may go (hopefully) on a roll and end up with a decent amount of money - If we ever get up to £5.00 we'll bank it and see how much we end up with at the end of the season. As ever please gamble responsibly.

TRANMERE ROVERS
23/20 to win at Bromley (via skybet.com)
Tranmere Rovers just missed out on the play-offs last season and have improved their squad over the summer. Bromley finished a very creditable 14th in their debut season in non-league's top division and will be looking to improve on that this season. It'll be a difficult game for Tranmere but the 23/20 looks good value for me for a team who I think will be title challengers at the business end of the season. Bromley are 9/4 and the draw is 21/10.
10p @ 23/20 returns 22p

EAST THURROCK UNITED
23/20 to beat Hungerford Town at home (via skybet.com)
Two teams making their debut at Step Two of the non-league ladder having won the play-offs in their respective division last season. I'm backing East Thurrock United to make a winning start to the new season - Rookery Hill is a very tough place to go and get a result so I think Hungerford will lose narrowly here. They are 19/10 to pick up a win and the draw is rated at 9/4.
10p @ 23/20 returns 22p

Hopefully next weekend we'll have 44p in the kitty.
