Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division FC Broxbourne Borough have sadly announced the club's Chairman and committee has agreed to fold the first team meaning they will not compete for the 2016/17 season. It had already been announced that Manager Frank Piazza had resigned with immediate effect.

The original Broxbourne Borough were liquidated in the Summer of 2012 and re-formed as FC Broxbourne Borough successfully being promoted back to the Premier Division in 2015. Last season they finished in 16th position in the table.

The Cold End hopes the club come back in the future and first team football returns to Goffs Lane.

Below you can find highlights of the seven goal thriller played out between Welwyn Garden City and Borough back in October 2015 which was probably one of the best games I saw last season.
