AN INTRODUCTION TO.....UNITE MK FC

Wolverton Town FC, who joined the Spartan South Midlands League Division Two in 2012, have announced they will be called 'UNITE MK FC' from the forthcoming season. The club have finished in 12th, 10th, 12th and 13th in the division since 2012. The club's Chairman Nathan Hunt announced "Due to moving to Manor Fields and wanting to work closely with the Irish Centre we have now decided to change the name to Unite MK, we fell it's a step in the right direction in attracting more people to Manor Fields and possible sponsors"

Joint Manager's Ashley Ferguson and Paul Fisher will be in charge of the club's first team for the forthcoming season. The team start their pre-season fixtures on Saturday with a home game against United Counties League Division One side Buckingham Town before another home game against Great Linford on Wednesday 20th July and travelling to Wicken Sports on Saturday 23rd July. Both of these clubs play in the North Bucks and District League.
