In the Premier Division we see title winner's Norwich United promoted to Division One (North) of the Ryman League leaving the league after a 25+ year association. Wivenhoe Town, Ely City and Great Yarmouth Town are promoted to the Premier Division.
Ely City and Wivenhoe Town bounce back at the first time of asking following relegation at the end of the 2014/15 season with Great Yarmouth Town returning to the Premier Division after four seasons away. Wivenhoe Town had their best season since winning Division One of the Isthmian League in 1989/90. Since joining the Eastern Counties League in 2008 they dodged relegation with a number of reprieves finishing 17th, 20th, 20th, 19th, 18th, 19th and 18th in the Premier Division. Is it the start of a climb back up the pyramid for The Dragons?
The Bloater's promotion will mean their local rivalry with Gorleston will be reignited - their derby games at Wellesley Road and Emerald Park will be well attended by many supporters.
