RICHARD WILKINS DEPARTS VICTORY ROAD

Ryman Premier Division Leiston are looking for a new manager as Richard Wilkins has departed Victory Road. The ex Bury Town boss took over as boss in October 2014 finishing ninth in his first season and eighth in 2015/16 which was there highest ever finish in the non-league pyramid in their history - They also reached the final of the Suffolk Premier Cup which they lost to local rival's Lowestoft Town. The Suffolk side lead the Premier Division for a short time at the beginning of  last season and did look like play-off contenders up until February when they lost five of seven league games eventually finishing eighth as stated.
