This was an eventful MyNews Hertfordshire Senior County League Division One game between Lemsford and Bedmond Sports & Social which included two really well taken goals - one from each side. With the score all square at 2-2 in the second half and Lemsford looking to inflict Bedmond's first league defeat of the season the game swung towards the away side with a hotly contested penalty kick given by the referee for what he saw as a foul in the box - see video from 2m 35secs to make your decision if it should or shouldn't have been given as a penalty.
Right on ninety minutes it was Lemsford who made claims for their own spot kick which was not give - see video from 3m 48secs to make your mind up if you think it was penalty kick.
This was Bedmond's eighteenth league game of the season and their eighteenth victory which sees them currently top of the table closely followed by Knebworth - Two midweek early kick off away games and some first team players missing saw them suffer defeat to Harefield United u21s 0-4 on Saturday 23rd April.
They still have a number of games left including two games against title rival's Knebworth and the league's famous Aubery Cup Final on Monday 2nd May against Premier Division Belstone. The two games against Knebworth on Saturday 7th May (at home) and Saturday 14th May (at Knebworth) should decide where the title ends up.
