COLSTON AVENUE TO HOST RYMAN LEAGUE CUP FINAL

The final of the Alan Turvey Trophy sponsored by Robert Dyas will be held at Carshalton Athletic's War Memorial Sports Ground, Colston Avenue on Wednesday 6th April 2016. A 3G surface was installed at the Division One (South) side's ground last summer. The final will see Division One (South) play a Premier Division side as the winners of the Faversham Town v Sittingbourne semi-final will play the winners of the Kingstonian v Enfield Town/Wingate and Finchley game.

The cup attracted it's critics over the past few seasons with some clubs wishing to focus on the title race/play-off race or avoiding relegation. However if you look at the last three winner's we can see it's a good competition to help teams get into the winning habit.

2015-  HENDON - also Premier Division play off finalists
2014 - MAIDSTONE UNITED - Premier Division champions in 2015
2013 - CONCORD RANGERS - promoted to the Conference South via the play-offs
