BILLERICAY TOWN
Twenty-Two year old Rowan Liburd has signed for Championship side Reading for an undisclosed fee. He was one of the stand out players in the division last season scoring 22 goals for The Blues after missing the first few months with a broken arm. This is fantastic new for the club and shows there are many promising players for football league clubs to pick up in non-league football. It'll be great to see Liburd scoring some goals for Reading in the near future.
Craig Edwards has recently recruited a striker in Jamie Guy to his squad who was with Grays Atheltic and Witham Town last season.
Billericay won their first three friendly games versus London Bari (5-0), Thurrock (2-0), Romford (1-0). They have then drawn against St Albans City (0-0) and lost versus Bishops Stortford (0-1) and AFC Hornchurch (0-2)
They host Ebbsfleet United on Saturday afternoon before finishing their pre-season with trips to Cray Wanderers next Tuesday and Guernsey on Saturday 1st August.
BOGNOR REGIS TOWN
The Rocks have played four games so far drawing 2-2 versus Gosport Borough and 1-1 with a very strong Portsmouth side. This week they have won 4-2 at Pagham and lost 2-0 at Moneyfields. They go to Worthing (next Monday) and then Havant and Waterlooville (Wednesday).
BRENTWOOD TOWN
Dean Holdsworth's new look side achieved a creditable 2-1 victory over a Southend United XI at home on Tuesday evening. Ex Enfield Town striker Liam Hope and Shad Ngandu
They have three more home games in pre-season with Witham Town, Chatham Town and Harlow Town visiting in the next week.
BURGESS HILL TOWN
The Hillians won a triangular tournament at Worthing beating the hosts 3-2 and drawing with Horsham 2-2 last Saturday. They beat Peacehaven and Telscombe 3-1 on Tuesday evening before drawing 2-2 with Hassocks on Wednesday evening. They host Three Bridges this Saturday.
CANVEY ISLAND
Former Premier League player Junior Lewis has joined the club's coaching staff. His last job in football was as Assistant Coach to Dave Hockaday at Leeds United last season. Since retiring as a player Lewis has coached at Wycombe Wanderers, Bradford City and Hendon. His experience will be invaluable for The Gulls next season. They has certainly been a few goals in the pre-season games so far with an average of 5.25 in the four games played. A good crowd of 872 people saw a full strength Southend United side record a 0-4 victory on Wednesday evening. Prior to this they had drawn 4-4 with Aveley, beaten Bishops Stortford 4-3 and lost to Dartford 0-2. They host AFC Hornchurch on Saturday. New signing Martin Tuohy scored two goals against Stortford and is expected to be amongst the goals this season.
DULWICH HAMLET
Four defeats and two wins for The Hamlet so fat this pre-season. The two wins came against a very strong Charlton Athletic team 2-1 at Champion Hill and 0-4 away at Aveley on Tuesday evening. They have also narrowly lost 2-3 at home to Peterborough United and 3-5 to German side Altona. The other defeat coming away at Erith and Belvedere 3-2. The four goals at Aveley came from Danny Waldren, Nyren Clunis, Jacob Erskine and a Junior Baker (playing against his former club) own goal. New signing Charlie Penny also played against Aveley and impressed playing just in front of the midfield. The Cold End thinks the 20 year old ex Welling United and Millwall player will be a good player for Hamlet this season. They travel to Whyteleafe tomorrow.
EAST THURROCK UNITED
The Rooks have been in good goal scoring form in pre-season with 4-1 and 4-2 victories over Witham Town and Waltham Abbey before a 0-2 home defeat to Dagenham and Redbridge. Kris Newby scored two versus Witham Town with Sam Higgins netting a brace versus Witham.
ENFIELD TOWN
Two games for the Towners so far which have been a 2-1 victory over Rushden and Diamonds and a 2-4 defeat versus a young and very talented Brighton and HA team. Corey Whitely and Bobby Devyne have been amongst the goals already.
FARNBOROUGH
Manager Spencer Day is interested in signing centre-back Keith Emmerson (the 32 year old has been Captain of the British Army team and has been on dual registration terms with Camberley Town and Poole Town recently). Raheem Sterling-Parker also played in the 1-2 home defeat to Egham Town on Tuesday evening. He was most recently with Boreham Wood and spent a period on loan at Enfield Town during 2013/14. Bradley Fraser scored a hat-trick in the 7-0 victory over Sandhurst Town last Saturday. They travel to AFC Totton tomorrow
GRAYS ATHLETIC
It's local derby day for Grays Athletic as they travel to rival's Tilbury for the annual Stan Veness Trophy. Mark Bentley's side have had a good pre-season with a 2-2 draw at Hullbridge Sports with a side made up mostly of trialists alongside wins at Bishops Stortford (2-3), Hayes and Yeading (0-4) and Thamesmead Town (2-4). They travel to Concord Rangers on Wednesday evening and then host Southend United in a 125th anniversay celebration match on Saturday 1st August.
Striker Bradley Tomlinson has been in good scoring form netting a hat-trick versus Hayes and Yeading and one goal against Thamesmead Town where ex Enfield Town player Jey Siva also scored.
HAMPTON AND RICHMOND BOROUGH
Manager Alan Dowson has been very pro-active in getting the playing budget he requires for the season. The ex Kingstonian boss is running the Elmbridge 10k (not once but twice!!!!) to raise funds for a potential signing. Dan Thompson scored their goal in the 1-1 midweek draw with Spelthorne Sports and they lost 0-1 to National League side Aldershot Town last weekend in a game which goalkeeper Seb Brown was man of the match. The Cold End expects The Beavers to finish much higher than the 15th place they ended last season in.
HARROW BOROUGH
Borough have three pre-season game left with Uxbridge at home on Saturday, Harefield United away on Tuesday and then home versus Ashford Town or Cockfoster in the final of the delayed 2015 Middlesex Charity Cup Final. They are unbeaten so far with results as follows - AFC Hayes (0-0), Oxhey Jets (w 2-0), Burnham (w 1-0) and Hayes & Yeading (1-1).
HENDON
The big news for Hendon FC has been off the pitch as at the club's AGM they signed a ten year lease to play at Silver Jubilee Park rent free. This will cut operating costs for the club by approximately £25,000 a season. The is a work to be carried out at SJP so it is thought the club will start the 2016/17 in their new home.

Gary McCann's side travel to the seaside tomorrow afternoon to play National League South side Eastbourne Borough before hosting a QPR XI at Earlsmead on Tuesday evening and travelling to play Fisher FC at Dulwich Hamlet on Thursday evening. They then travel to Maidstone United on Saturday 1st August in the Ryman League Charity Shield.
KINGSTONIAN
The K' scored their first goals of pre-season and got their first win on Tuesday evening. Richard Jolly and Mohamed Makanera scored in a 2-1 victory over a Millwall XI.
LEATHERHEAD
The Tanners host National League South side Dartford on Saturday in a game which will see Richard Avery, Adam Green, Joe Bruce and Louis Wells playing against their former side. The Darts include former Tanner's Tom Bradbrook, Deren Ibrahim and Becka Dembele.
LEISTON
Richard Wilkin's side travel to Ipswich Wanderers tonight following an impressive 6-2 victory over Lowestoft Town on Wednesday evening. Joe Francis impressed in this game with a hat-trick alongside Christy Finch (1 goal) and Jack Baker who scored with a 40 yard effort!
LEWES
The Rooks are unbeaten so far in pre-season winning 3-0 at Peacehaven and Telscombe, drawing 0-0 at home to Brighton and HA u21s and 1-0 at Worthing in midweek. They travel to Hassocks tomorrow afternoon.
MERSTHAM
Three wins in as many games for Merstham indicates a great start to preparation for their first season at Ryman Premier Division level. Hayden Bird's side go into tomorrow's friendly versus AFC Wimbledon after wins v Chatham Town (3-0), Tooting & Mitcham (3-0) and 3-0 versus South Park.
METROPOLITAN POLICE
The Met travel to Godalming Town tomorrow. Aside from the Geoff Harvey Memorial Trophy results against Tooting and Mitcham (0-3) and Corinthian Casuals (0-1) the Met's pre-season results have been good. Stand out results have been a 1-0 win at home to a Fulham XI and a 2-2 draw at home to an AFC Wimbledon XI.
NEEDHAM MARKET
The Marketmen travel to Brantham Athletic tomorrow following a 2-0 home victory over Colchester United under 21's thanks to goals from Kem Izzet and Sam Newson. They have announced the signing of Danny Smith from Suffolk and Ipswich League side Framlingham Town. Not only did the teenage striker score 26 goals in 25 games for their 1st team last season he also scored 26 in 17 appearances for their under 18 side. Smith has signed a two year deal and looks a very promising player. He certainly knows where the goal is!!
STAINES TOWN
A 100% record so far for The Swans with victories over Tooting and Mitcham (5-0), Burnham (2-0), Wealdstone (2-1), Woking (3-2) and Brentford XI (3-2). They host Maidenhead United tomorrow afternoon. Defender Joe O'Cearuill has recently signed for the club having spent time with Haringey Borough, Heybridge Swifts and Dover Athletic last season. The ex Arsenal trainee was with Enfield Town for a short spell in 2013.
TONBRIDGE ANGELS
The Angels host Fisher in the 2015 Supporters Direct Shield tomorrow afternoon at Longmeadow. Tuesday night saw them lose 0-2 at home to Ebbsfleet United following a good 1-0 win over an AFC Wimbledon XI last Saturday.
Following the tragic death of Junior Dian the club have announced it will be introducing heart screening for all their players, together with other Kent footballers between the ages of 14 and 35. The programme will be up and running within the next 6 months.The cost of such screening is £35.00 per player which in the eyes of the club seems a small price to pay if a life can be saved. VCD ATHLETIC
VCD travel to new Division One (North) side Phoenix Sports tonight following defeats against 1-3 versus Ebbsfleet United, 2-3 versus Aveley, 0-5 versus Bromley and a 3-0 win at Erith Town on Wednesday evening.
WINGATE AND FINCHLEY
There are three more friendly games left for Wingate. They face Slough Town (tomorrow) and Hemel Hempstead Town (Tuesday evening) at home and then travel to Ware on Saturday 1st August. They recorded a 4-2 victory at Royston Town through goals from Rob Laney, Billy Healy, Karl Oliyide and Mechak Williams coming back from being behind 1-0 and 2-1 during the game.
