PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY UPDATE

Two Ryman Premier teams were in early pre-season action today. The Met Police played Division One (South) side Walton Casuals at the Xcel leisure centre and came away with a 1-3 victory. Their goals came from Joe Turner, Dee Okojie and Charlie Collins. Billericay Town won 0-5 against Essex Senior League side London Bari - goalscorers on the day for them were Loui Hazelwood (new signing from Romford), new signing from Bowers and Pitsea Lewis Manor, Dan Udoh (who was with Grays Athletic last season as well as Hoddesdon Town - he has also played for Wingate and Finchley and Worcester City), Tunde Adewumni (who did play for the blues a few times in 2012/13 and has recently played for Maldon and Tiptree) and Harry Baker.

Elsewhere, other games saw National League South side won 2-7 against Hanwell Town in a game played at Brunel University and Spartan South Midlands League Division One side won 3-1 against Hertfordshire Senior County Premier Division Evergreen with goals from Ollie Babbage, Jordan Halls and Pete Sawyer.

THE JOCKEYS VISIT THE HAWKS ON TUESDAY EVENING. NEWMARKET TOWN FINISHED IN SIXTH PLACE OF THE THURLOW NUNN PREMIER DIVISION LAST SEASON.
