HODDESDON TOWN WIN AT CODICOTE

Spartan South Midlands Division One Codicote welcomed Premier Division Hoddesdon Town for a pre-season friendly at The John Clements Memorial Ground on Tuesday evening and it was The Lillywhites who came away with a deserved 0-2 victory. Both sides are under new management for the 2015/16 season with Codicote now jointed coached by Keith Coughlin and Steve Young (ex Stotfold manager) with Hoddesdon Town under the guidance of ex St Margaretsbury boss Gavin Kelsey. Coughlin had been in joint charge with Liam Errington last season for The Cod Army.

Hoddesdon's goals were scored by Mark Summers and Joss Lillis. They both play Hertfordshire Senior County League sides on Saturday afternoon with Hoddesdon travelling to Hadley Wood and Wingate and Codicote playing Belstone.
