THE URCHINS LOOKING FOR BOUNCEBACKABILITY

Relegated AFC Hornchurch are looking to show some bouncebackability in the Ryman Division One (North) for the forthcoming season. The Urchins will play at Step 4 of the non-league ladder for the first time since 2006/07 when they won Division One (North) by a massive twenty-one points from Harlow Town.

The Essex club have signalled their intentions with the signing (for an undisclosed fee) of last season's Premier Division Golden Boot runner up David Knight. He scored an impressive thirty-one times for Wingate and Finchley last season.

Manager Jimmy McFarlane now has two of the top three Premier Division scorers from last season as George Purcell (27 goals) has committed to The Urchins for the forthcoming campaign.

The Cold End expects The Urchins to be one of the top scoring sides in the division for 2015/16.

The Urchins begin their pre-season campaign with a trip to Ilford on Saturday 11th July.
