KENT FOOTBALL 2015/16 - UPDATE

The Southern Counties East League for 2015/16 will run with nineteen teams as below. Leaving the division are 2014/15 champions Pheonix Sports who join the Ryman League Division One (North), Lingfield FC who applied for voluntary relegation and look to be placed in the Southern Combination League (the newly renamed Sussex County League) and Woodstock Sports who unfortunately annoucned they were folding at the end of the 2014/15 campaign. Their website quotes "Quite simply, we do not have a sustainable business plan and the funding is simply not there for another season. This breaks our hearts as we have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to build the foundations of the club over the past few years and our progression is a testament to the monumental time and effort the committee, especially Colin Page, has put into the club on a daily basis"

Joining the division are AFC Croydon Athletic (runner's up in Combined Counties League Division One) and Kent Invicta League champion's Hollands and Blair
