Next Wednesday 11th March sees the representative teams of the Southern Amateur League and the Amateur Football Combination for The Steve Langley Cup. The games takes place at The Queen Elizabeth II Stadium at Donkey Lane and kicks off at 7.30pm. The match is played each year in the memory of Steve Langley who captained the SAL side along with his club side Crouch End Vampires. He sadly passed away, through lung cancer, aged just 42 years old in 2003.
This Saturday also sees the semi-finals of the Amateur Football Alliance Senior Cup played. The first sees Old Wilsonians (3rd in the SAL Senior Division One) face Old Suttonians (4th in the AFC Premier) at The Bank of England Sports Ground.
The second match sees Old Meadonians (2nd in the AFC Premier) played West Wickham (10th SAL Senior Division One) at the HSBC Sports Ground.
Both of these games kick off at 3pm.
