There were some fantastic crowds in local non-league football yesterday including the incredible 432 people who crammed into The Spotted Dog to watch Clapton v Enfield 1893 which is amazing considered just a few seasons ago The Tons were attracting attendances in their 20s and 30s.
Hertford Town had their community day at Hertingfordbury Park with 559 people watching their 2-1 win against Cockfosters.
Wingate and Finchley also had their 'pay what you want' day agianst Dulwich Hamlet with 407 attending which is more than double their current average of 160.
Another good crowd was the 245 people who saw Heybirdge Swifts beat title favourite's Needham Market at Scraley Road. This is just over double their average of 121.
Only two games across the three Ryman Divisions beat the figures at Hertford Town and Clapton being 474 at Bognor Regis Town and the all ticket crowd of 2,226 at Maidstone United v Margate.
