The final tie sees Shaw Lane Aquaforce (third place to Tadcaster Albion) welcome either Glossop North End (second in the North West Counties Football League Premier Division) or 2012 winner's Dunston UTS (5th in the Northern League Division One).

Could Glossop North End be the first ex football league side to win the FA VASE? Glossop North End (named Glossop from 1899 to 1992) were members of the football league from 1898 through to 1915. They spent one season in the top division which was 1899/1900. Their chairman at the time was Samuel Hill-Wood who was born in the town and went on to hold the same position at Arsenal in their very succesful 1930's period. Samuel is the grandfather of Peter Hill-Wood who also served as Chairman with The Gunners.
