Hetton Lyons are the only former winners left in the competition having lifted the trophy in 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012. Barnes Albion and Lebeqs were runner's up in 2013 and 2007.
The Merseyside area is well represented with three teams from the Liverpool and District Sunday League, two from the Liverpool Business Houses Sunday League and One from the Birkenhead Sunday League.
