Maidstone United are now the firm 4/9 favourites with the bookmakers to win the Ryman Premier title on a current points total of 59 points from 26 games played. Second placed Margate are 9/4 on the same points total but they have played two more games.
Dulwich Hamlet (55 pts from 28 games) and Hendon (51 from 27) are rated as outsiders at 20/1 and 33/1. For either Gavin Rose or Gary McCann's side to win the title would see both The Gate and The Stones form drop considerably.
Looking at the current form table it could be asked have Dulwich Hamlet got a chance as they have a win percentage of 83.33% with the other four sides involved lagging behind on just 33.33%. Hamlet lost at home to seven placed Leiston on Tuesday evening who themselves are chasing a play-off spot.

Margate have added to their impressive list of forwards this week by signing 21 year old Freddie Lapado from Kidderminster Harriers. He had been on loan at Grays Athletic and scored 14 goals for the Essex side. The Cold End expects to see him in Terry Brown's starting line-up in Margate's next league game which is a big one as Dulwich Hamlet visit Hartsdown Park on Saturday. Neither side can afford to lost this game which will be a well attended one with Hamlet bringing a large noisy away support to the Kent coastline.
