It's shaping up to be a really exciting fight for the Combined Counties Premier Divison title with as the table stands it looking like five teams in the race for the top spot. The gap of ten points between Camberley in 5th and Spelthorne in 6th would indicate for any team currently not in the top five to finish top at the end of the season would be a real surprise and a total transformation of the form book.
Cove are currently top of the table but if Ashford Town, Molesey and Camberley win their games in hand they will go above them - a clear indication of how tight the race is going to be.
Camberley Town are the form team on a current winning run of eight games and they also have the lowest loss ratio of the top five losing only three of their twenty-one games.
Up until the middle of November it would of been Ashford Town considered as favourites as they did have a record of only one defeat in sixteen games but three losses in their last seven games (against Raynes Park Vale, Windsor and Molesey) have drawn them closer to the other teams.
Cove's next game is away at Guildford City, Ashford Town at home to Epsom and Ewell, Windsor away to Horley Town, Molesey at home to Spelthorne Sports and Camberley Town away at Hanworth Villa. All the games take place this Saturday 10th January aside from Windsor's game at Horley Town on Saturday 17th January.
