SAVE HITCHIN TOWN

It was a fantastic day for football in the Hertfordshire town of Hitchin yesterday as 1300 fans marched to protest against the proposed development of Hitchin Town's historic Top Field ground. Fans from many lcoal non-league clubs attended including some from Wingate and Finchley along with football journalist Guillem Balague.

A huge turnout in the protest to save Top Field. From @hitchintownfc

The Canaries game against table topper's Poole Town saw 1,606 in attendance with a last minute winner for the home side to record a memorable 1-0 victory.

Surely this is proof the Town needs football to remain at Top Field and not another supermarket!
