ENFIELD DOMINATE AGAINST LEWES WHO GO BOTTOM OF THE TABLE

Enfield Town won 3-0 against Lewes yesterday with Corey Whitely, Mark Kirby (SUPER CAPTAIN KIRBY!!) and Jon Constant, on his home debut, scoring the goals in a comfortable 3-0 victory. A number of the away fans present thought they were hard done by following the referee's decision to send off their midfielder Jack Dixon in the first half. The footage captured by @muzzyboii shows it was a studs up dangerous foul right in front of the official who made the right decision.

The Cold End read a tweet by @mooro72 yesterday evening about the Cockfosters FC game he played in and it rang true about the Enfield Town v Lewes game - saying that it applies to every game that is played!! Coming from a player who has over 1000 non-league appearances under his belt I think it's safe to say to he knows what he's talking about -

Players win games referees don't lose it!!! #justgetonwithit

Lewes now find themselves bottom of the table with just two wins from their fifteen games played so will need to start to pick up points sooner rather than later. They face Metropolitan Police at home next Saturday who are currently in fifth place following their 0-0 draw at home to Dulwich Hamlet yesterday.

One of the most important results of the day came in VCD Athletic's 3-2 home victory over Harrow Borough which lifted them off the bottom of the table. Their winner came in the 90th minute of the game!
