With just four games down the Ryman Premier Division has a familiar look to it with Maidstone United, Dulwich Hamlet and Kingstonian all in the top five along with pre-season title favourite's Margate and Leiston who have lost just one of their four games to Dulwich Hamlet.
Only two teams are left with a 100% record being the top two of Margate and Maidstone United. The Kent rivals join Dulwich Hamlet, Kingstonian and Witham Town (11th - 3 draws and 1 win) as the only five teams without a defeat.
At the bottom of the table VCD Athletic, Hampton and Richmond and Bognor Regis Town all have a 100% losing records with both Hampton, Bognor and AFC Hornchurch (one win and three defeats) all somewhat surprisingly occupying the bottom four.
Highest scorers presently are table topper's Maidstone United and Wingate & Finchley (7th place) on eleven goals scored. Lowest scorers are Bury Town on just one goal. The team with the best defence are Margate who have conceded only two goals with Hampton and Richmond Borough the worst who have let in eleven goals.
Wingate have certainly made the best of their relegation reprieve by winning two of their opening four games with centre-forward David Knight scoring six goals in the process. He tops the division's golden boot list followed by John Curran (5) of Canvey Island and Bradley Hudson Odoi (Met Police), Gareth Heath (Leiston) and Tommy Whitnell (Tonbridge Angels) on four goals each.
Margate and Maidstone United both have home games this weekend against Billericay Town and Bury Town so will be odds on to continue their perfect start to the season. Bet365.com will currently give you odds of 1.14/1 for a Stones/Gate double!
