The Essex Olympian League have announced their constitution for the forthcoming 2014/15 campaign. The league has lost one club being Alemite Athletic who drop out of Division Three after finishing third last season.
Joining the league are Newham based 'East Londoners' who won the Premier Division of the Ilford and District League last season without losing a game. 'FC Hamlets' also join - they were crowned Essex Business Houses League champions in 2013/14 along with Southend Borough Combination runner's up 'Thorpe Athletic' who will also compete in Division Three for the 14/15 campaign.
It's also good to see the league, as well as the reserve divisions, running an under 21 section which has expanded by nine teams. This can only be good for the future of grass roots football in the county of Essex.
