INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL COMES TO COLES PARK THIS SATURDAY
The local football season may drawing to an end but there are still a few matches to be played over the coming weeks. A very interesting game takes place this Saturday as International football comes to Coles Park the home of Haringey Borough. The game between Somaliland and Sealand kicks off at 2pm so there is plenty of time afterwards to get somewhere to watch the FA Cup final which kicks off at 5pm.
Sealand have been in action twice this year in games against The Chagos Islands played at Godalming Town (W 4-2) and Crawley Town (D 1-1 which they lost on penalty kicks 4-3). The team has represented the Principality Of Sealand since 2003. They are not FIFA or UEFA affiliated but are associate members of the Nouvelle Federation Board.
Somaliland are also members of the Nouvelle Federation Board and represent the self declared independent state of Somaliland.
It all looks set to be a great afternoon in White Hart Lane - Where else can you see an International game of football for just a fiver?
