EVERYTHING BUT THE GOAL!!!

GLORY FOR KENTISH TOWN THROUGH TO DIVISION ONE CUP SEMI-FINAL

A great night was had by Spartan South Midlands League Division One side Kentish Town last Wednesday when they battled through to the Divisional Cup semi-final with a narrow 0-1 victory at Arlesey Town Reserves.

The Cold End has written about the Kentish Town club many times before and how impressed I am with their manager and club development officer John Creith. Whilst many managers swear and shout at referees for most of the match John is brilliant in the dug-out and a real credit to this level of football. There was nothing but positive encouragement for his team throughout the 90 minutes played and when he did talk to the referee he was polite.

Above - Kentish Town manager John Creith coaches his team on Wednesday night.
A real credit to local non-league football.

At the end of the game Creith went to congratulate his goalkeeper who made several really good saves to keep a well earned clean sheet. The match highlights are below which unfortunately do not include the goal which I managed to miss hence the headline!!
