No highlights of the Enfield Town v Canvey Island game from yesterday I'm afraid as it was another game I couldn't get too - I feel like a part-time supporter! Enfield Town went 1-0 up through Liam Hope but Canvey came back strongly in the second half and were leading 1-3 on 90 minutes. An amazing spell of football by Town capped off a tremendous fight back with goals from Liam Hope and Joe Stevens making it 3-3.
The Towners now have three games scheduled in a week - the results of which could prove pivitol in the race to keep out of the relegation zone. Other key results at the bottom of the table yesterday saw Cray Wanderers record a 0-2 victory over Carshalton Athletic and Wingate & Finchley gain a vital victory 3-1 home victory over Thamesmead Town. East Thurrock United lost 1-2 at home to AFC Hornchurch with Town's Tuesday night opponents Harrow Borough losing 3-2 at Dulwich Hamlet.
ENFIELD TOWN'S NEXT THREE SCHEDULED LEAGUE GAMES
TUES 28th - HARROW BOROUGH
SAT 1st - Thamesmead Town
MON 3rd - Hendon
