EAST LONDON SPECIAL

The matches selected for Sunday 13th October are all from the East London area -

INDEPENDENT SOUTH ESSEX SUNDAY LEAGUE
PREMIER DIVISION
ASIANOS v LONDON HAMMERS
VENUE - WANSTEAD FLATS

Asianos, who have won all three of their games so far (4-1, 5-1 and 2-0), play London Hammers who have only played once so far. Their game versus Wennington Rovers ended 5-5. This should be a really decent game in a division that has some very good teams competing.

COMMUNITY FOOTBALL LEAGUE (LONDON)
DIVISION ONE
SHADWELL YOUTH v POPLAR UNITED
VENUE - WANSTEAD FLATS

Also on the flats this Sunday morning is a real East London derby at Shadwell Youth take on Poplar United. Shadwell lost their opening two games 0-1 and 0-7 but improved with a 3-3 draw against FC Bengals last time out. Poplar United have a victory, a draw and a loss in their three games scoring seven and letting in six goals. Another highly competitive game expected here.

DAGENHAM AND DISTRICT SUNDAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE
BELLAMY CUP GROUP C
PLAISTOW v JALANI RUNNERS
VENUE - BARKING PARK

It's Premier Division v Division Two at Barking Park. There have been goals galore in Plaistow's five games so far with results of L 1-5, W 6-2, L 4-2, W 6-3 and W 4-3. The Runners are rooted to the bottom of Division Two after losing all four of their games so far scoring 8 but letting in 19 goals so will underdogs in this game but anything can happen and it all points towards a high scoring game here.

A special mention has to go to 'Bully's Crusaders' of the East Hertfordshire Corinthian Sunday Football League. Their game versus Slim was previewed in The Cold End Sunday Match on the 22nd September and it ended 5-5. Looking at their results for this season they are clearly the team to follow if you want goals  -

8/9/13 - HARTS HORNS W 6-4
15/9/13 - RIFLE VOLUNTEER D 4-4
22/9/13 - SLIM D 5-5
6/10/13 - BUZZ FC W 4-3

They play FC Cestrehunt (note - this is not spelling mistake...it's what the team are called) this weekend at Goffs School. Score predictions anyone? They are definitely a team the cold end's camera will be visiting soon.
