FA VASE SECOUND ROUND DRAW MADE

The draw for the second round of the FA Vase has been made earlier today with plenty of local teams still involved on the road to Wembley. Hanwell Town, currently second in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division, have been given a great away day at Great Yarmouth Town. The Bloaters are doing really well (currently third) in their Thurlow Nunn Division One campaign so far and beat their local rivals Gorleston (from the Premier Division) on Saturday to get to this stage of the competition. This is a great excuse for me to show a picture of The Wellesley Ground which is a great place to visit.

Hanwell Town will visit Great Yarmouth's historic stadium in the next round of the FA Vase
Another good game comes when Barking (sixth in the Essex Senior League) travel to Ampthill Town who are currently top of the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division. Enfield 1893 (second in the ESL) welcome Norwich United to Goldsdown Road who are currently in fifth in the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties Premier Division. The games are due to played on the weekend of Saturday 16th November. Hadley currently ground-share with Potters Bar Town, whom are scheduled to be at home in a league game versus AFC Hayes, so their game with Brantham Athletic could possibly be moved to Friday night or Sunday afternoon?

Here is a list of the draw involving club's local to Hertfordshire, Essex and North London -
