6. HARLOW TOWN 6 3 1 2 21 13 +8 10 66/1 - 20/1

Witham Town head the early Ryman North table followed shortly by VCD Athletic and title favourites Aveley. Four of the top five make up the current unbeaten teams with Aveley the only side to suffer a defeat which came at VCD who have a 100% winning record so far.

VCD, who moved back up to the Ryman North division from the Kent League, have had a tremendous start to life back at this level but they as well as the rest of the top six will know it's early days yet.

There are only two bookmakers offering odds for the title with Heybridge Swifts slight favourites with Betway at 9/2 and Aveley at 4/1 with BetVictor. There is a huge difference on the odds for current sixth placed Harlow Town as one firm rates them as 66/1 and another at 20/1. They are the top scorers in the division on 21 goals thanks to nine goals from Alex Read. The ex Brentwood Town striker heads the division's top scorers followed by his team mate Junior Dadson on 5. The Hawks have had some random results even at this stage of the season where they won 8-3 at home versus Barkingside and 0-5 at Ware but also lost 5-1 at Thurrock.

There is break from league action tomorrow as the Ryman North sides play in the FA Cup Preliminary Round.

7. ENFIELD 1893 2 2 0 0 4 0 +4 6

Great Wakering Rovers are early leaders in the Essex Senior League and are only one of three teams with a 100% winning record alongside Barking and Enfield 1893. Takeley in ninth place are the only other unbeaten side with one victory and two draws from their opening three games.

London Bari, whom lost their chairman and manager who joined Ryman Division One (North) Redbridge in the summer, are bottom of the table with four defeats in four, no goals scored and nine conceded. It looks like it's going to be a long season for the East London based side.

There are some league games tomorrow with a real 'London' derby as APSA take on BARI at The Terence McMillan Stadium. Eight sides are still involved and going for glory in the FA Cup.

Barking host Great Wakering Rovers next Tuesday which pits two of clubs with a 100% winning record together which is a game many fans are looking forward too. APSA are involved in another East London derby game on Thursday evening when Sporting Bengal United visit.
