PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES UPDATE

There have been a few pre-season games played over the past few days involving Ryman Premier Division sides.

On Monday evening a Billericay Town XI won 2-3 against Waltham Forest in a game which comprised of three 30 minute periods. The Blues go to Great Wakering Rovers tonight.  

Dulwich Hamlet entertained a Dagenham and Redbridge side at Champion Hill yesterday evening. Hamlet fielded two separate sides in each half and came back from 0-1 to win 2-1. Their goals came from Paul Vines (new signing from Kingstonian) and Jerome Walker (was with St Albans City last season and has played for Harrow Borough & the Metropolitan Police). The Daggers side included several players with first team experience including Chris Lewington, Abu Ogogo, Scott Doe, Luke Howell, Medy Elito and Josh Scott.

Lowestoft Town travelled to Division One (North) side AFC Sudbury and came away with a 0-2 win. Their goals came from Lee Smith and Robert Eagle.

Maidstone United welcomed FA Vase finalist's Tunbridge Wells to The Gallagher Stadium with The Stones winning 2-1 through goals from Leon McKenzie and Frannie Collin. Collin has signed from Conference South side Tonbridge Angels where he scored lots of goals so will be up amongst the top scoring charts this season.

Margate travelled to Kent League side Ashford United and won 1-5 with goals from Charles Ademone (2), Tommy Murphy, Joe Vines and Zac Attwood.

Locally, the new Brimsdown FC played their first game going down 0-6 against Hoddesdon Town at The Cheshunt Country Club.
