TheColdEnd brought you news of Enfield Town's Ryman League campaign for 2013/14 yesterday. Here is look at the fixtures for the opening week of the season and also some of the key days throughout for the whole Ryman Premier Division -
RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION
Saturday 10th August
AFC HORNCHURCH v LEWES
BOGNOR REGIS TOWN v GRAYS ATHLETIC
CANVEY ISLAND v KINGSTONIAN
DULWICH HAMLET v LOWESTOFT TOWN
EAST THURROCK UNITED v BURY TOWN
ENFIELD TOWN v MET POLICE
HAMPTON AND RICHMOND BOROUGH v MARGATE
HARROW BOROUGH v BILLERICAY TOWN
LEISTON v CRAY WANDERERS
MAIDSTONE UNITED v WEALDSTONE
THAMESMEAD TOWN v HENDON
WINGATE AND FINCHLEY v CARSHALTON ATHLETIC
Three of the four promoted sides (Dulwich, Maidstone & Thamesmead) have been given home games with the fan's of Grays Athletic really hitting the jackpot with a super summer seaside opening day trip to Bognor Regis. I'm sure they'll be a few beers sunk on the South Coast that day!
The game of the day for TheColdEnd is "The Battle of The Stones" at The Gallagher Stadium. Both Maidstone United and Wealdstone are predicted to do well in the league so this game will be a fiercely contested one in front of a what I predict will be a crowd of over 2,000. United averaged 1,698 in their Ryman South fixtures last season.
Monday 12th August 2013
HENDON v DULWICH HAMLET
KINGSTONIAN v ENFIELD TOWN
WEALDSTONE v BOGONR REGIS TOWN
Tuesday 13th August 2013
BILLERICAY TOWN v EAST THURROCK UNITED
BURY TOWN v HARROW BOROUGH
CARSHALTON ATHLETIC v MAIDSTONE UNITED
CRAY WANDERERS v CANVEY ISLAND
LEWES v HAMPTON & RICHMOND BOROUGH
LOWESTOFT TOWN v THAMESMEAD TOWN
MARGATE v AFC HORNCHURCH
MET POLICE v WINGATE AND FINCHLEY
In the first set of midweek games Hendon v Dulwich Hamlet on Monday should be a decent North v South London derby game. Thamesmead Town receive a tough welcome to their Premier Division away days with a near 250 mile round trip to the East Coast to face The Trawlerboys so they'll probably have to leave Bayliss Avenue in the early afternoon. Margate v AFC Hornchurch should also be a cracker of a match as both sides are another two predicted to do well in the battle for the title/play off places.
