PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES START THIS SATURDAY

The pre-season friendlies season start this Saturday. League One side Gillingham will be busy as they send two side's to Ryman Division One (South) Faversham Town (1pm kick off) and Kent League side Ashford Town (3pm). Another D1S team are in action when Whitstable Town entertain a side sent from League Two Dagenham and Redbridge.

A little bit closer to Cold End country is a very interesting International game at Thamesmead Town's Bayliss Avenue when The Sealand National Football Association play a team from The London Turkish Community Football Association. The Principality of Sealand (which is an old Sea Fort around 13 kilometres off of the Felixstowe coastline) has an amazing history and the football team's first game came in 2004.

Sealand are warming up for the first Tynwald Tournament, which takes place from July 4th to 7th where they will compete against teams representing Alderney, Raetia, Tamileelam, Occitania and St Johns United who host the tournament on the Isle of Man.

The game on Saturday kicks off at 2pm.
