NO CHANCE OF SILVERWARE - TOWN LOSE ON PENALTY KICKS

Enfield Town went down 4-2 on penalty kicks (after a 0-0 draw) this evening to Evo-Stik Central Division side Uxbridge in the Middlesex Charity Cup Semi-Final.

Uxbridge will face either Combined Counties Premier Division Hanworth Villa or Hampton and Richmond Borough or Brentford whose quarter final was postponed last week. A new date is yet to be set. League One side Brentford have entered a under 21 development squad into the competition this season. It's certainly great to see the bigger clubs supporting the Middlesex FA, Help for Heroes and the local football clubs involved. Well done The Bees!

The final will be played at The Queen Elizabeth Stadium in May. I am unsure of the date at present.
