WEALDSTONE WIN MIDDLESEX DERBY

The Stones fans were the happier leaving Donkey Lane on Saturday after a narrow 1-2 victory which got their play-off/title ambitions back on track. The Town put in a real battling performance and by all accounts deserved at least a point from the game.  Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control I missed the game and wasn't able to record any highlights.

Town could still meet our rivals in the Middlesex Charity Cup. If The Stones beat Uxbridge in their Quarter-Final match we travel for a Grosvenor Vale Cup Glory Super Semi-Final. Forget the bread and butter of the Ryman League it's the Middlesex Charity Cup where it counts.

More snow has now fallen overnight which will put Town's game with Metropolitan Police on Tuesday night in doubt along with many other local games.

More from TheColdEnd soon.
