Another excellent football blog visited Donkey Lane on Saturday. Here is the link to Pitch Side Stories report from the Bognor Regis Town game. He certainly is a really busy football traveller as this year already he has been to Chesterfield, Morton and Motherwell to name a few games.
It's a great site which TheColdEnd highly recommends.
TOWN THROUGH TO CUP SEMI-FINAL
Enfield Town faced Northwood in the Middlesex Charity Cup Quarter Final last night and with goals from Mark Kirby, Bryan Hammatt, Walid Matata and Adam Wallace they recorded a very decent 4-1 win. Wealdstone or Uxbridge away await Town in the Semi-Final to be played sometime in March.
The other semi-final will be Hampton or Richmond Borough or North Greenford United or Brentford v Hanworth Villa or Cockfosters.
There were two fixtures in the Ryman Premier Divsion last night. Wealdstone made the long midweek trip to Leiston where the result was 1-1. Harrow Borough were beaten 2-3 at home to Metropolitan Police. The result in Suffolk now see's a nine point gap between The Stones (with one game in hand) in second place and table topper's Whitehawk. There is still much football to be played so the race for the league title is not over by a long way in my opinion. The Hawks face a local derby at home to Lewes on Saturday and then a trip to Hendon next Tuesday.
