News has reached TheColdEnd of Anglian Combination Division Two side Bungay Town FC's campaign on Twitter to beat or overtake Manchester City's current 612,983 followers. This to prove a point that money is ruining football at the top end of the game and of course to show people that it's not all about the Premier League big guns.

@BungayTownFC currently only have 941 followers so The Black Dogs, as they are nicknamed, have a long way to go. It would be good to see them on 1000 followers by the end of the day. If you love non-league football please get following and we'll see what happens.

The club have been members of the Anglian Combination since 1964 and are currently in fifth place of Division Two which is on step nine of the non-league pyramid. This Saturday they are scheduled to play Hempnall Reserves at their home ground The Maltings Meadow.
