COLD SNAP SETS IN

What's becoming almost an annual tradition of 'the cold snap' seems to have set in this December. Only one Ryman Premier Division game survived last night which was the top v bottom clash which went to form with Margate beating Carshalton Atlhetic 3-1 in front of 228 people. Locally only games at St Margaretsbury and Codicote survived the frosty and freezing conditions. The Gate are now six points clear of 2nd placed Whitehawk (who have two games in hand) making Saturday's top of the table clash at The Enclosed Ground an all important one.

Luckily the weather forecast shows it's going to warm up slighltly for the weekend. Don't go reaching for your sun glasses and Bermuda shorts just yet as it's only predicted to be a maximum of 9 degrees with some rain in the air too. Hopefully it'll be good enough for Town's game at Wealdstone to go ahead.

To keep you entertained for the time being here are highlights of two great games from last season. The 4-3 victory versus Waltham Forest and the 5-0 win against Thamesmead Town.

As a bonus here's a really entertaining game from August 2010 between Kingsbury London Tigers and Kentish Town. This game was played at Silver Jubilee Park which sadly (i think) is currently not being used for football.
