St Mags of the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division have already played four games in this season's competition having required replays to get past Kings Langley and Leighton Town.
In the replay against Leighton Town (who play at Step 4 which is one level above them on the pyramid) they were 2-0 down but made a spectacular comeback to record a 2-3 win to set up tomorrow's eagerly anticipated local derby game.
Town were subjected to a shock result in last season's competition against Stotfold (as you'll see from the highlights below) so Steve Newing will have the squad fully motivated and ready to take the first step on what will hopefully be a good Cup run.
KICK OFF IS AT THE USUAL TIME OF 3PM.
MARK KIRBY'S EFFORT HITS THE POST IN LAST SEASON'S SHOCK AT STOTFOLD. HAD THIS GONE IN IT COULD OF BEEN A DIFFERENT GAME? |
All 22 of the Ryman Premier teams enter the competition tomorrow so there is a good chance a shock result or two will occur.
