Hoddesdon Town dominated last night's Spartan South Midlands Division One game against Welwyn Garden City at Lowfield and could of scored a few more goals than they did.
The Citizens were missing a few key players and things got worse when their captain and central defender limped off with an injury after only around ten minutes.
It was the first time Hoddy have scored eight goals since the 3rd April 2010 at home against Amersham Town and Welwyn's worst result since the 0-12 and 0-8 defeats to Dunstable Town and Royston Town in their relegation season of 2009/10.
Match highlights are below and from this evidence TheColdEnd can see the home side right up the top end of the table come the business end of the season.
