REAL FOOTBALL RETURNS TOMORROW

With all the Olympic excitement sweeping the country and especially London it may have escaped people that competitive football returns this Saturday as several league season's kick off in what will hopefully be summer sunshine. The Combined Counties, Eastern Counties, Essex Senior and Kent League all start tomorrow.

ESSEX SENIOR LEAGUE
Barking v Southend Manor

Basildon United v Clapton
Enfied 1893 v Burnham Ramblers
Great Wakering Rovers v Stansted
Hullbridge Sports v Haringey and Waltham Development
Sawbridgeworth Town v London Bari

In the ESL Great Wakering Rovers should start with a win over 2011 Champions Stansted along with a interesting game between Enfield 1893 and Burnham Ramblers whom are both expected to do well this season. Takeley, another side that people have predicted will be right up the top of the table, visit Barkingside. The result new side London Bari get at Sawbridgeworth Town may be a pointer as to how well the East Londoners do throughout the season.

In the Kent League relegated Whyteleafe welcome Canterbury City and the other new club Rochester United welcome Erith and Belvedere to their sports ground in Strood. Rochester United is the new name for Bly Spartans whom were 2012 champions of the Kent Invicta League thus earning promotion to the Step 5 league.
