GREAT DAY OUT AND THREE POINTS!!! - THE GLORY DAYS ARE BACK

What a fantastic day out at Lewes we all had on Saturday afternoon. The Dripping Pan is a great non-league ground and the welcome the travelling fans received from the Lewes faithful was what our level of football is all about. Fans mixed throughout the game and there was even a mobile hot pie salesman roaming the picturesque stadium during the game.

The match will be well written about elsewhere so TheColdEnd will provide some pictures of the day and the all important match footage. The travelling fans from Enfield made loads of noise and it was a great atmosphere all day as Liam Hope and Mark Kirby were the goalscoring heroes for The Town. To single Kirbs and Liam out would be unfair as every player who got onto the pitch for Enfield Town worked so hard for the three points in absolutelty sweltering conditions.

One of the best moments was when two of the travelling supporters managed to pursuade a local resident to let them into their flat so they could hang their flag off the balcony which overlooked the ground.
