VICTORY FOR LEWES AND ENFIELD TOWN

The Supporters Direct Cup and Trophy games took place at The Queen Elizabeth Stadium today with Lewes lifting the Trophy thanks to a 1-0 victory against Fisher and Enfield Town winning 3-1 against a youthful Wrexham side. Liam Hope (2) and Mark Kirby scored the goals for Town in the first half with a number of youth team players and trailists getting some game time in the second half.

No footage of the game today as I was busy being Dad to my little boy who enjoyed his visit to The Donkey Dome. The above picture is Jack's (he turns 5 next month) interpretation of his Dad scoring (more by luck than judgement I think!) in the half-time penalty competition between supporters of Enfield Town and Wrexham which Enfield Town won. The Fisher fans won their shoot-out with Lewes.

Even though the weather was miserable a good time was had by all so The Cold End wishes Wrexham along with Fisher and Lewes the best of luck for the forthcoming season.

Wrexham's official club page has a report on the match here
