Moore and Gentle both had good games and proved experience is something you can't buy and can't beat..... A young up and coming player named Steve Newing was also sitting on the bench (or in the bar!!!) as substitute which increased the 'been there and done it' nature of the side.
Dom made it 1-0 with a good finish from the edge of the box in the first half that Town had goalkeeper Charlie Crowley and the post to be thankful to for stopping the youthful Ebbsfleet side scoring.
Ebbsfleet deservedly equalised in the second half via Shannon Claridge who's looping header went the right side of the post with Crowley not able to get to the ball.
In the end 1-1 was about the right score with Salum Said (number 11) and Claridge impressing for the away side. Said showed some good touches and skill at times. Tremayne Coley (number 11 for ETFC) showed off his lighting pace at times and looks a good prospect.
It's a busy week for Manager Ram Ismail as he takes a reserve XI to Braintree Town on Wednesday night.
