STOMPOND LANE AWAITS

Enfield Town start their 2011/12 FA Trophy campaign with a trip to Ryman Division One (North) Walton & Hersham tomorrow afternoon. Last time Town visited Stompond Lane (in the FA Cup game in September 2009) they were managed by John Crumplin but he has since been replaced by Chuck Martini and assistant Steve Darlington who moved from Godalming Town last September.

So far, It hasn't been the best of seasons for The Swans with a current league position of 2nd from bottom. They have only one win from their eleven league games which came in a 1-0 home win against Burgess Hill Town on Tuesday 23rd August. In the FA Cup they recorded a 3-1 win against Kent League Tunbridge Wells before losing to fellow Ryman South side Mertsham in the First Qualifying Round.
