WEEKEND ROUND-UP

A good win at home to Waltham Forest for Enfield Town yesterday. A double from Liam Hope and one from Stuart Blackburne saw Town win the game 3-0. Defeats for Romford (albiet against Harlow Town), Wingate and Finchley and Brentwood Town with draws for AFC Sudbury and Maldon & Tiptree saw the clutch of teams in the running (some with a good chance and some with an outside chance) for the play-offs move closer together.

Key games in the coming weeks -

Tuesday 29th March
Grays Athletic v Heybridge Swifts
Defeat for either of the current 10th or 11th placed teams would probably see end to their play-off hopes.

Saturday 2nd April
Brentwood Town v Maldon & Tiptree
M&T need a positive result from this game to keep in touch.

Needham Market v Romford
Difficult away trip for Romford after yesterday's heavy defeat at Harlow Town

Saturday 9th April
East Thurrock United v Needham Market
The biggest game of the Ryman North season. The result of which could potentially decide where the title ends up at the end of the season.

Romford v Brentwood Town
Another difficult game for Romford against 3rd placed Brentwood Town

Tuesday 12th April
Wingate and Finchley v Needham Market
Needham will be in either good or bad spirits at this one depending on the result of their title decider game at Rookery Hill.
