GRAYS ATHLETIC TONIGHT

Enfield Town's league campaign continues tonight when a trip to Grays Athletic on the cards. Julian Dick's side have only won five of their seventeen league games so far and currently sit in 17th place.

After the disappointment of losing the local derby versus Tilbury on Bank Holiday Monday they got a good point at home to Maldon and Tiptree last Saturday. Their league form at their adopted home of Rookery Hill looks reasonable being only two defeats (Harlow Town and Potters Bar Town) in eight games so far.

Reading reports on their game against M&T on Saturday it seems as though they had much the better chances and took the lead on 70 minutes. The home side then "scored" in the dying moments of the match only for the goal to be ruled out for offside. The resulting free kick was hit long and high by M&T in one last hit and hope - they scored to make it 1-1.

It's a chance for the Enfield Town squad to bounce back from the 0-4 defeat on Saturday. If they play half as good as they did against AFC Sudbury last Tuesday Grays Athletic will be in for a difficult game!

UP THE TOWN!!
